Planable pricing in 2026: plans, limits and the real cost for agencies

Planable costs $33 to $49 per workspace per month, and a workspace is one brand or client. Here is what each plan includes, where the post and approval limits sit, and what a ten-client agency really pays.

Planable's pricing page looks simple: a free start, two paid plans and a custom Enterprise tier. The number that decides your bill is not the sticker price, it is the unit underneath it. Planable charges per workspace, and by Planable's own definition a workspace is one brand or client, so an agency pays the plan price once for every client on the roster. This guide breaks down what each plan costs in 2026, where the limits sit, and what a ten-client roster actually pays.

What Planable costs in 2026

Planable prices in US dollars, per workspace, per month. All figures below were checked against planable.io/pricing in July 2026.

The free start gives you your first 50 posts free. Not 50 posts a month: 50 posts total, a one-time allowance that does not reset. There is no time limit and no card required, so you can evaluate the product at your own pace, but once the 50 posts are used you have to upgrade to keep publishing.

Basic costs $33 per workspace per month. It includes 60 posts per workspace each month, unlimited users, 4 social pages per workspace, Feed and Calendar views, 3 campaigns per workspace, and two approval types, None and Optional. Required approvals, where a post cannot go live until someone signs off, are not part of Basic.

Pro costs $49 per workspace per month. The post cap rises to 150 per workspace each month, the page cap rises to 10 social pages, and the third approval type, Required, unlocks. Users stay unlimited.

Enterprise is custom pricing, positioned for teams running 5 or more workspaces. This is where volume pricing, multi-level approval complexity, security features and priority support live.

Two add-ons are sold separately, per workspace, on all paid plans. Analytics costs $12 per workspace per month on annual billing ($14 monthly). The social inbox costs $7.50 per workspace per month on annual billing ($9 monthly). Both come with 30-day free trials, and yearly billing on the core plans gives you 2 months free.

How per-workspace pricing actually works

Planable defines a workspace as the place where a team creates, reviews, approves and schedules content for a specific brand or client. In practice that means one client, one workspace, and every price on the pricing page multiplies by that unit.

The generous side of this model deserves credit: users are unlimited on every plan. You can add your whole team, freelancers and client contacts without a per-seat bill, which is a real advantage over seat-priced competitors. Planable's multiplier is clients, not people.

For a brand-side marketing team managing one or two brands, that is close to an ideal model. You pay $33 or $49 for the brand you run, invite everyone who touches content, and the bill never surprises you. For an agency, the same model turns the roster into the price list. Ten clients means ten workspaces, which means ten times the plan price, and each add-on you rely on is also billed ten times. The pricing is not hidden or unfair, it is simply indexed to the thing an agency is trying to grow.

The limits to know before you buy

Three limits matter more than the headline price, and all three sit inside each workspace.

First, post caps. Basic includes 60 posts per workspace per month and Pro includes 150. For most single brands that is plenty. If a client runs multiple daily posts across several pages, a busy month can press against the Basic cap, and the fix is an upgrade to Pro for that workspace.

Second, page caps. Basic connects 4 social pages per workspace and Pro connects 10. A client with a presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube already needs 5, so multi-platform clients tend to land on Pro for the page count alone.

Third, and most important, approvals are tiered. The approval workflow is the main reason teams pick Planable, and the strict version of it is exactly what the cheaper plan lacks. Basic offers only None and Optional approvals, which means nothing technically stops an unapproved post. Required approvals, the gate most agencies actually want, start at Pro. Multi-level approval chains, where several people must sign off in sequence, sit in the custom Enterprise tier. If approvals are why you are buying, price Pro, not Basic.

The real math for a ten-client roster

Take an agency with ten clients that wants Required approvals, which is the realistic baseline for client work. That puts every workspace on Pro at $49, so the base bill is $490 a month.

Most agencies also need reporting, and Analytics is a per-workspace add-on at $12 to $14 each. Across ten clients that adds roughly $120 to $140 a month, bringing the total to about $610 to $630. The social inbox, if you manage comments and messages for clients, adds another $7.50 to $9 per workspace on top. Annual billing softens all of this with 2 months free, and it is worth taking if you commit.

The structural point is that the bill scales linearly with wins. Every new client adds roughly $61 to $63 a month at the Pro-plus-Analytics stack. At twenty clients, Pro alone is $980 a month before add-ons. Planable knows this, which is why Enterprise is positioned at 5 or more workspaces with volume pricing; past a handful of clients, you are expected to negotiate.

When Planable is the right choice

Here is the honest part: at small scale, Planable is genuinely cheap, and if price is the whole decision at one to three brands, Planable wins it. Two clients on Basic cost $66 a month. Two on Pro cost $98. With unlimited users included, almost nothing in the category beats that for a lean team.

It is also genuinely excellent at the job it chose. Planable is a specialist in content collaboration: drafts, comment threads, internal and client sign-off, all in an interface that non-technical clients understand without training. If your single biggest pain is feedback scattered across email, chat and spreadsheets, Planable solves exactly that conversation, and it solves it well.

The right buyer profile is clear. A brand-side team with one or a few brands. A boutique agency with a short roster and no plans to grow it fast. Any team whose bottleneck is the review conversation itself rather than production, publishing or the financial side of client work. For those teams, the per-workspace model is a feature, not a tax.

The alternative when the roster grows

Cadenus approaches the same problem from a different axis. Planable is a specialist in content collaboration and bills by the workspace. Cadenus is built around the agency itself and prices in brand capacity from the start: Starter is €79 a month for 8 client brands and 3 team members, Agency is €149 for 20 brands and 10 members (the plan most agencies pick), and Scale is €249 for 45 brands and 25 members. Extra seats are €9 a month, annual billing is 10 times the monthly price, so 2 months free, and there are no post caps on any plan.

The second difference is where approvals sit. In Planable, Required approvals start at Pro and multi-level workflows sit in Enterprise. In Cadenus, client approvals are on every plan: the client signs off from a magic link in a white-label portal, no client account needed, with versioned video review. That is not a claim to a deeper approval engine than the specialist's, Planable has refined that conversation for years. The Cadenus case is consolidation. Approvals are one step of a wider operation that lives in the same product: a production pipeline with briefs, tasks and stages, native publishing to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and YouTube, per-client profitability, and Radar creative research. An agency on Planable typically runs a project tool and a reporting spreadsheet beside it; an agency on Cadenus runs the loop in one place.

The math is what flips as the roster grows. Ten clients on Planable Pro with Analytics run roughly $610 to $630 a month, and each new client adds about $61 to $63. Cadenus Agency is €149 flat for up to 20 brands, with no post caps and a 14-day trial with no card. FAQ

Is Planable free?

Partly. Planable's free start gives you your first 50 posts free, with no time limit and no card required. The allowance is one-time and does not reset monthly, so once you have used 50 posts you need a paid plan to keep publishing.

How much does Planable cost?

Basic is $33 and Pro is $49 per workspace per month, with a custom Enterprise tier positioned for 5 or more workspaces. Analytics ($12 to $14) and the social inbox ($7.50 to $9) are separate per-workspace add-ons. A workspace is one brand or client, so an agency pays these prices once per client. Yearly billing gives 2 months free. Prices checked July 2026.

What counts as a workspace in Planable?

One brand or client. Planable defines a workspace as the place where a team creates, reviews, approves and schedules content for a specific brand or client. An agency with ten clients therefore needs ten workspaces and pays the plan price ten times.

Does Planable limit how many posts I can schedule?

Yes. Basic includes 60 posts per workspace per month and Pro includes 150. The free start is a one-time allowance of 50 posts that does not reset. The caps apply per workspace, so each client's quota is separate.

Which Planable plan has approval workflows?

Approvals are tiered. Basic includes only the None and Optional approval types, Pro adds Required approvals, where a post cannot go live without sign-off, and multi-level approval workflows sit in the custom Enterprise tier. If approvals are the reason you are buying Planable, budget for Pro at $49 per workspace.
