Owns their clients, start to finish
Built for the way modern agencies scale: every account manager runs their own book of business inside one shared workspace, and sees only the clients assigned to them.
Scoped to their clientsWhy this role exists
Plenty of agencies don't run as one big team — they run as a group of people, each carrying their own set of clients. A founder with five or six freelancers, each owning a handful of accounts, often on a revenue split.
That model breaks the moment everyone can see everyone else's clients, content and numbers. So we built a role for it. An Account Manager gets everything they need to run their accounts on their own — and sees strictly their own clients, nothing else.
It sits between Strategist (who executes but doesn't own the client) and Manager (who runs the whole operation and the team). The Account Manager owns the client relationship, but never the agency's money, sales or staff.
What they run
Their clients
Add, edit and manage the clients assigned to them — profile, branding, the works.
Content & publishing
Compose, schedule and publish natively to every channel — only on their clients' accounts.
Approvals
Send review links and approve their clients' posts themselves, without waiting on anyone.
Brand kits
Keep each client's brand assets and guidelines in one place, ready to use.
What stays out of reach
In practice
A founder with six freelancers, each handling their own set of clients on a revenue split. Everyone works in one Cadenus, but no one sees another's clients, content or numbers. The owner sees the whole picture; each manager sees only their own.
