How to use Cadenus: from sign-up to your first published post

A walkthrough of the whole workflow: set up your workspace, connect your channels, run production, get client approval, publish natively and see the money, with a screenshot at every step.

Cadenus · 26 June 2026 · 9 min read

Cadenus replaces the five-tab scramble, chat for briefs, Drive for files, a spreadsheet for status, with one system. This is the whole loop, from the moment you sign up to your first post going live, with a look at the actual screen at every step. Setup takes about fifteen minutes; the workflow it gives you lasts.

Set up your workspace

Sign up with email or Google, then name your workspace (your agency) and invite your team. Cadenus ships with six roles: Owner, Manager, Strategist, Editor, Accountant and Client. Each role opens its own home screen, a cockpit, shaped for that seat, so an editor sees their video queue and a strategist sees their clients and tasks. Invite people from Settings, then Team, and give each one a role: they get exactly what they need and nothing they don't.

Connect your accounts

Publishing is native, so connect the channels you actually post to. Add Instagram, Facebook and TikTok from Settings, then Connections, a normal secure login with no passwords stored, and a Google Calendar too if you want your week in the cockpit. This is the one part that touches an external login. After it, everything happens inside Cadenus.

Add your clients

Every client, or your own brand, becomes its own space with a pipeline, a portal and its money. Add one from Clients and assign who's responsible; onboarding is a questionnaire and a pattern, not an hour of copy-paste. The portfolio view shows every client at once: who's on track, who's in review, who's at risk, and what each one is worth.

Run production on the board

This is where the work lives. Every deliverable, a reel, a carousel or a task, is a card on a board you shape to your agency: your stages, your custom fields, your assignees. Drag a card from Editing to Review and the history stamps itself. Anything that sits too long gets flagged before it becomes a fire, so the Monday meeting is a confirmation, not a discovery.

Get the client to approve

When an edit is ready, send it to the client portal. The client opens a secure link, no account, no app, nothing to learn, watches it on their phone, and approves or requests changes with a comment. That decision lands back on the work item, word for word and permanent. No more reconstructing feedback from three email threads and a phone call.

Publish natively

Approved work flows into the composer: captions ready, a live preview per platform, a cover frame you choose. Drop it on the calendar and it publishes natively to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok at the scheduled time, per brand, with no export-import dance between five accounts. When it goes live, the work item completes itself.

See the money and report

Revenue and costs live next to the work, linked per client, so you can finally see which retainers actually make money. AI insights flag concentration risk before it bites. At the end of the month, the client report is one click: a white-label PDF under your own brand, not a night in spreadsheets.
